She always eats the octopus that still have their eggs. She should let the pregnant ones go. I know that the eggs are a delicacy, But they should be released so they can have more octopus to catch in the future.

Cows are not a wild animal. The only way that we can help the population of the octopus is to allow the pregnant ones to go free. Many countries have laws to protect pregnant animals. One example, you cannot keep a pregnant crab in most countries. I mean she can go back and catch the octopus later but at least let it have its eggs first. I’m not saying don’t eat octopus. I’m just saying let it at least gives birth to its babies.

@@nanolafsson4749 the OP is right, we don't hunt and eat baby deer, nor are we allowed to even look too long at a doe with a baby. The compassionate don't eat veal, foie gras, lamb, goat, pigs or cows.
