Open world PvP has been a staple in World of Warcraft history. Many players either make it or break it in zones like Stranglethorn, Ashenvale, and even Tauren Mill. Many people expect epic 1v1 combat against an equal foe when you mention PvP. Reality, however, is closer to an extremely high level player killing a low level new player.
Nixxiom decides he wants to have some fun. And what is more fun than killing the enemy faction? But he wants to have fun, not a challenge. So, he heads to a lower level Horde zone in order to bring some enjoyment to his time in game.

Plot convenience : it takes 20 seconds to log out so the tauren could have kill him anyway.

sometimes you can get an instant logout but its rare

@@tripsix263 it's not happening randomly tho, you get an instant logout when you're in a rest area (e.g. a capital or a tavern), on a random road in a random zone it won't happen

I did that back in vanilla in STV. I be on my hunter on the roof of tower in Grom'gol Base Camp. Once they figured out how to get up there I log out lol.

lol I did that but for the Stromgarde walls. I would gank, but when other max levels showed up, I would either kill them (occasionally successful) or climb on top of the walls to avoid them altogether and use my crossbow or throwing weapons.

@@AtomicF0x nice 😊. With mine I had to time the blimps leaving the base camp. I had free range till I see them figure out the blimp was the was up. Back then we still had that cant shoot anything with in what was it 6-9 feet? Restrictions.

I remember this rogue would tank me and my friend for hours. We would finally hearth and move to a new zone or even log for an hour and he would find us. Found out he had two account at the time and would track using the other account to come look for us. Never did anything to him, dude was just a complete dick. We even talked to him and argued with him and he was rather pleasant about killing us over and over and over. We finally wen’t to one of our other servers for the remainder of the time we had. Sadly, it was one of the last true time me and my best bud had time to play with one another. We are both family men and sometime it can be years before we have time or even in the same state to dink around without wife or kids.

Just an fyi. You don't need two accounts. You just need a character as the other faction on same server and just type in the character name or level of the character to find in what zone they are in. That's how.

A private server did it best. Everyone starts with pvp being optional aka warmode. And there's a consume that make it to where pvp is perma on and you gain 30% exp on everything. Ironically just like the video it ends up being all horde players who think their tough getting camped like crazy by max level alliance players lel.

Dying in world PVP?! Hahaha, only losers die in world PVP. You just have to queue for an arena skirmish before engaging a tough opponent, or queue for arena if you get attacked yourself. The queue will pop in like 10 seconds, and just keep it on the screen. If it seems like you're gonna lose the fight, just take the queue and disappear into thin air. It's ok, Blizzard made it so you can accept the queue even if you are in-combat. Mwahahahahahahahahaha!! This is even better than the WoD feather toy before it was nerfed, and it has no cooldown. Oh and don't bother complaining to Blizzard that players exploit this feature to escape world pvp at will, this has been going for several expansion.

Is this a reupload? It was great the way it was without the huge explanation in the description text. Yes world pvp was way better before warmode and yes idiots ganking low level players was a thing and still is really but before warmode it was more like hey if you don't want to pvp then don't flag. It's why warmode isn't working in retail because the people there mostly just wanna level faster and there's just not any actual pvp

Done this myself. Only a fool enters a battle they aren't sure to win. I've ganked and been ganked. That's just how it goes. Don't like it? get out of pvp.

true it made lvling more exciting for me, it was a pain to lvl like this but once you were maxed it was your turn, made the game more fun imo
