So this Gankino Horo was composed by Semionov, it is not a folk piece? I've seen it credited as a folk piece and also credited to Boris Karlov, which doesn't seem right.

@@cerebrummaximus3762 It is folklore yes or a trad melody. Semionov is a russian accordion musician, performer, composer and teacher. Karlov I guess, also has a version of this melody. Gankino is a dance is played in 11/16 and Horo means dance. So 11/16 dance. So there are many melodies called Gankino Horo. @@JoakimMonsenBoris Karlov is legendary bulgarian accordeon player who died very young. And he's the source of what Semionov did in "Bulgarian suit"- simply both are big names and geniuses.
