Hi, I am Ajinkya & this is my channel AJINXD Artist.
In today's video, I am taking you to Ganpati Visarjan Miravnuk Pune 2019. First we all the important Ganpati's of Pune and then we go for Vajra Pratishthan's miravnuk of PMC Sevakwarg Ganpati.
The day starts with a little rain & my anxiety, wondering if I'll get to shoot the visarjan at all? The rain stops while I am getting ready.
In my 8 years, this is the first time I am not wearing the dress of my Dhol Pathak. The maroon kurta & the white salwar & odhni with Nehru cap along with the ID and my wooden 'tipru'. It was already getting weird but I had to make up my mind. I dressed in a regular kurta and salwar. I knew I was gonna get some angry looks if I were to go around my dhol pathak anytime.
I quickly rush to Deccan where I park my bike & I start walking towards Alka chowk on Lakdi bridge, that's where the video starts. Most of the stuff that happened is covered in the video but I feel I should mention a couple of things. I couldn't shoot much of Ramanbaug because it was crowded there, nothing personal. I also couldn't shoot Tambdi Jogeshwari Ganpati. It started raining when I was standing in front of the idol, they had covered it in plastic. I would've also liked to shoot other dhol tasha pathaks more and in a better way.
As most of the time, I was helped by Vighnesh for some of the shots with GoPro. I am also thankful to Vajra Pratishthan along with other Ganpati mandals, dhol pathaks, volunteers, and the police & armed forces working for over 24 hrs straight. These people make it special. The Ganeshotsav of Pune.
I'll see you next year but in between, I'll keep posting my travel videos.
