I used to eat “ gansitos “( baby geese) when I was a child and I still love them. It’s like an individual little cake. Bread, strawberry jelly wiped cream and chocolate. You can eat them just like that, but they taste SO MUCH better cold or even frozen with some milk. 😋 yummy 🤤 definitely Not Twinkies try submarinos they are almos exactly alike. Me and my kids just ate one by the way.

Ok first, this are not Twinkies. Americans confuse and just say the name because it has the shape of a Twinkie but it’s an oval shape with strawberry jam and cream filled covered in chocolate and chocolate sprinkles, Twinkies are just simple looking with cream filled.

Waaaay too late to the party but I gotta say, those gansitos look... I don't want to say old, but in here in MX we have 2 "levels" of cakes, the ones that are prime, fresh, that are sold in stores(and even then some might have not so fresh ones) and then the "cold" cakes, either close to expiration date, sub standard, or mistreated(Like broken box and slightly squished ones, seems you got those) Gansitos are good even when the bread is a bit dry, but fresh gansitos are delicacies, you gotta take a vacation to mexico and try al the sweet cake styles we have, we literally have dozens of types, if you count only factory made, or hundreths if you go to a typical bakery
