In this first part, I demonstrate how to remove the gantry, check for twist in the frame and how to flatten it. I filmed both parts on my phone and both times I ran up to the 10 minute limit, hence the abrupt endings.

Thanks for the videos on the twist in the gantry. You mentioned several times about it being square however you never checked for squareness anytime in this video or part 2. How would you go about fixing it if it was not square as many users have experienced with the K40's?

In this video I was addressing something that affects mirror alignment. If the gantry is not twisted, but a parallelogram, the mirror alignment can still be spot on, and the only indication that something is wrong is to cut a rectangle, flip it 180° and see if it fits in the hole. Depending on how out of square the frame is will determine how you go about repairing it. It is possible to address the problem in the layout software, but you need to measure the correction angle.

There were no screws holding my gantry together, it was welded and way out of square. I had to grind the welds off, square it up and re weld it again.

Wow! That's a new one :) I've heard that the period right after Chinese New Year is worst time to buy assembled products because it is when many people change jobs, so there is a higher likelihood that a newb will be doing the assembling.
