happy pibble I'm fine with the money i spent on the kickstarter. the early access release is remarkably feature complete. it's buggy and animations need a lot of cleaning up but with a functioning replay editor, object placement, and customization, I'm really happy with the offering. the devs seem definitely competent.

It's very cool how they have challenges in the game already to get you hooked on the game as if you weren't hooked already the fact that you can re create spots and tricks from pros and make awesome videos it's already amazing and it's not fully done yet keep up the awesome content

Nightspeeds is a good dude. But thanks. Fun is what it’s all about. Gotta enjoy what your playing. Even if you just have fun doing realistic. Nightspeeds does stray from the realism occasionally though.

one of my fav gaps so far is the blue container infront of the police car and behind the overpass. I love setting the camera up like a dash cam from the police cruiser and doing insane shit. so far my fav clip was powersliding into the bent rail pole jam piece and flying off the end

On that first set you should gap out to the bottom bit of the rail past the wall.

The more I watch the game the more I want it. I actually kinda hated session at first but man I can't wait for the Xbox release. I'm playing skate 3 on hardcore at the art gallery map just to get as close as I can to a real skating 😭😭

Honestly, I don’t like using objects for my stuff. I just like to use the surroundings. But if the surroundings are impossible, that’s when I pull out the object dropper. Thanks to the devs for adding what I needed.

I can kind of see why people aren't as interested in the impossible stuff. I really can't stand watching people like Alex or what ever his name is play. I actually stopped playing Skate online because it was just manual flips trick manual flip trick manual flip trick manual, and just that on repeat. When I recorded stuff, I usually went with the most realistic stuff I could do, because I enjoyed it. But fuck it, this is also fun. It's a video game still. And the main unrealistic thing would be the landing. Skaters have been doing mega ramps for a while. They go down large hills, and do large jumps. So. Fuck it. Thanks for showing us this glitch. Hope they don't fix it. One of the great things about skate was using the glitches to get to places you couldn't normally. Gave so many more places to explore than previously thought.

I feel you dude. That’s the main reason I don’t play online either. I just wanted to play hardcore SKATE. But there’s too many glitches for that. That’s not my style. But I do like crazy tricks and big gaps.

I hope the devs don't take out stuff like this IF we want to make huge mega ramps. I personally want the more realistic game but I also like the option of going out of bounds, making a mega ramps etc. Now they obviously won't get rid of the placement features but I hope they don't make stuff like that impossible. Especially if it's just solo as of now.

They should add speed ramps for spots like this. That way you dont have to build your own ramps to gain speed. Lile maybe a ramp that has a ladder you can climb up, then bam just drop in.

There is a limit on objects. For example: There is only 10 plywood available.

You just have to practice. I over rotate a lot, and have to try it over and over again to make it smooth. I edit most of those tries out.

RV SICKLES - I’ve only been using Pressure. And that’s just how much pressure you put on the triggers. I just do it as soon as I pop. It would be really hard to show it on a controller or explain. That’s definitely something you have to practice yourself. Just put less pressure on the trigger until you find what looks nice for what you’re doing. I haven’t practiced a lot with the other rotation controls, so I’m not sure.

Go to ‘selecting mode’. Select the object. Back out. It should disappear.

DEMON TONGUE - it’s tough to get used to. Just practice and it will get easier. I do it without thinking now. But when I played that first prison demo, it was really hard to get used to. Easiest way: Find something that you really want to skate. Make sure it’s something that you have to turn in to. Keep trying that spot until you land it. You will learn quickly that way. Or just explore the map and ride around.

If you’re just comparing the early access without mods.. Yes. This offers more features and a huge map. The controls are a lot different, but very similar. You get: character customization, skateboard customization, day/night cycle, object dropper, replay editor, and a lot more. However, some people may prefer the modded maps and other mods and controls of Skater XL. You would have to make the decision of what you prefer.
