This couldn't have come at a better time - or maybe 6 months further on (mid- to late-2023). I want this type of flooring in my new build, so seeing that I can do it myself will help the budget greatly.

Great video! Two products that could help here are the boxes of prefab packets of various sizes, which takes the messing around out of cardboard. With the need to mark through a deep drill hole, check out your hardware counter. They sell tiny aerosol marker paint (like an asthma puffer), with a pointed bullet tip that goes against the hole and sprays a dot of paint through to mark your material for painting. Your job here looks great!

Great advice to wear the respirator. I noticed the filters on your respirator are designed for dry particles such as protecting you from the cement dust. When you are doing the acid part the filters designed for the vapours?

Great video as always!!, Would it be possible to apply the final polyurethane sealer coat over the concrete lip under the garage door to protect it and also stop anything penetrating under the edge?

You can use the clear sealer however I intentionally left it plain so I can put a color sealer once the drive way is completed 👍

I have exposed concrete sealed drive way. Will the witching affect my drive way when it comes time to wash the acid off the garage floor.

Best thing I have done for the garage. Very durable, oils and rust can be simply wiped away. Very happy with it👍👍👍

This was for my house and is not something I usually do for customers. Not my field of expertise but generally I would say you can expect to pay $3000-$4000

How does this product hold up to hot tires being in the same spot over, and over again?

I don’t intend to have cars parked in there as I will use it for storage. If I wanted to park cars in there I would grind the floor first for maximum adhesion and there shouldn’t be an issue after that👍
