That woman thinks that all trashmen are dogs. That says more about her than it does about them. I've got nothing but respect for these guys. I look up to these guys

I think she means dogs as a womanizer. My friends that were garbage men had women by the tons. Not all GM but most.

You mean to tell me being a McDonald’s cook is equal to what these guys do? That’s a slap in the face. I was in the military and now do this. Judging by that ignorant comment I bet you work a useless job. JOBS ARE NOT EQUAL!

My Dad did this for 25 years since he was18 years old and did it well and I miss him till this day. I wanted so bad to follow in his foot steps so I agree respect these men and women who do this job because the politicians don't give a damn about these workers.

My area has taken a strong recycling approach. Niagara Region in Ontario, Canada. We are allowed two bags or cans of garbage once every other week. Extra bags cost $2.50. They pick up recycling & food, and pet waste every week.

yeah because it also affects how we work what people do with their waste affecrs our condition when they obey all the guidelines it's easier for us to do our job when they disobey us it's harder to work some common examples people leaving garbage outside the trashcan this makes it harder for us when they don't leave them outside it's easier for us when they make their bins too heavy also affects our job in a negative way we put pressure on our bodies when the trashcans are heavy when they do not throw any forbidden materials it's easy for our job without putting pressure on our selves some materials are forbidden in trashcans like building materials heavy furniture heavy branches vehicle parts rocks sand dirt gravel balls etc those objects make the bins extremely heavy and for us is very hard to deal with it and we put so much pressure on ourselves that's why we prohibit them so people should do their part to make our conditions easier and safer
