Join us on an unforgettable trekking adventure around the picturesque Lake Garda! In this thrilling KZfaq video, we take you through our exhilarating journey over four days, exploring some of the most stunning locations and experiencing the joys and challenges of long-distance trekking.
Our expedition begins in the charming town of Peschiera del Garda, where we set off with our 12kg backpacks, filled with everything we need for this epic adventure. Day one takes us through the enchanting towns of Lazise, Bardolino, Garda, and Torri del Benaco, as we soak in the captivating beauty of Lake Garda's shoreline. We are mesmerized by the olive tree gardens, breathtaking lake vistas, and the rich history that surrounds us.
On day two, we tackle the trail from Malcesine to Bocca Larici. This leg of our journey is filled with adrenaline as we navigate the panoramic Busatte Tempesta trail, pass through the vibrant towns of Torbole and Riva del Garda, and conquer the challenging ascent to Bocca Larici. The views along the way are simply awe-inspiring, leaving us in awe of the natural wonders that surround Lake Garda.
Continuing on day three, we descend from Bocca Larici and make our way to Limone sul Garda, meandering along the coast with the sparkling waters as our constant companion. We revel in the tranquility of the journey and marvel at the picturesque landscapes that unfold before us. We immerse ourselves in the serenity of our wild camping experience, cooking delicious meals along the way.
Unfortunately, our trek had to be cut short on the fourth day due to tendinitis problems. However, we adapt to the situation and make use of public transport to return to Peschiera. Despite the setback, the memories we created and the breathtaking sights we witnessed will forever be etched in our hearts.
Among the many highlights of our adventure, the castle of Malcesine stands out as a true gem. Its majestic presence atop the hill offers a glimpse into the rich history of the region, adding a touch of enchantment to our journey.
