The late artist and plantsman Sir Cedric Morris and his home, Benton End in Suffolk, were the inspiration for Sarah’s show garden. “Cedric Morris was famous for his flower paintings and iris still lifes. You can see that he really understood the plants, but he was also an incredible gardener, who influenced Beth Chatto. He introduced 90 different cultivars of bearded iris,” says Sarah.

I couldn't make out what she was saying about bales and wolves? Could you explain that please?

Ah she’s talking about the wall behind her which was constructed using straw bales stitched together and then rendered with a lime based render. She was saying how beautiful and golden the straw was in the evening light before they put the render on. And then how lovely they look with the soft organic curves.
