Thank you for mentioning the flat green beans for Grandpa.😊 I think actually that's the kind my grandma liked too.

Yes Kim, please consider putting more cameras around your property especially since you travel so often. If you could put up a fence, that would be great too.

Good to know about cutting off the green tops on onions. I had mine all fall over. I also think my soil wasn't very good. It was one of the first things I planted.

My strawberry green stalk did the same thing when we were moving.😩so I started over in the empty cups and it looks wonderful now, so will your tomatoes. I just emptied my leaf green stalk of snap peas and couldn’t think of what to reseed and you gave me the idea! Collards! My son loves to cook collards and kale. Thank you Kim

You may need to put a fence around your fruiting tree area. My cousin had some fruit trees and the neighbor would wait till they got ripe and then come over when they were gone and harvest it first themselves. They talked to them and they still continued to do it. 😢

Hi Ms. Kim, you have beautiful gardens and it’s a shame you working hard growing for not only you but for your family, friends, and neighbors, then someone have the nerve to take from you. They should have knocked and asked. Don’t worry God will give you double for your troubles. Hopefully some fence company will sponsor you so you can get you a fence in addition to cameras. You are truly blessed and God sees everything.❤ keep doing what you’re doing because it is paying off for you.

I'm so very sorry this happened to you. Please do not be hard on yourself. It's frustrating how brazen people are (both adults and children). It's my hope that in the very near future, you'll be able to get some cameras and possibly a fence or barrier to deter others. And if it isn't humans collecting your harvest, that at least you can have those things to stop critters.

I think I’d put up an electric fence….I know it seems a bit extreme, but it won’t hurt anyone too much but will keep them (and critters) out??? I’m so sorry! Since there were none left, I would assume it was adults vs kids.

I’m sorry you lost your peaches. Were the peppers you harvested from your overwintered plants or from the newly planted ones? I’m trying to gauge the peppers I have growing in my GS by yours so I know if they are progressing normally. I’m getting lots of banana peppers, but no bell, jalapeño, or Serrano peppers yet. They had some blooms, but never have set peppers. They look very healthy otherwise. Do they need more time and I’m just being impatient? I have some granular fertilizer that’s supposed to be good for flower & fruit production, but I wasn’t sure how to apply it now. With plants already growing in the pockets. Do I just sprinkle some on the top of each pocket and scratch it in? Wish I was your neighbor so I had a gardening mentor nearby. 😉

Kim, so sorry for your loss. But, it wasn't necessarily the 'kids' that cleaned your peach tree. As one prepper says, you can't let everyone know what you are doing and what you've got. Another KZfaq creator that I follow found that out. And, another one moved to a different state to get away from family members and the friends that they hang with because he was hit big time. Keep on gardening girlfriend.
