The skill and experience shown more than out weighs the terminology, I don't care you may use the wrong words now and again. The point is you know there is a difference between a PH and a PZ and which to use for a particular screw type. Love to see the respect you appear to show your employees - please always goes a long way - and the way you and Jenny banter back and forth, you look like a good team.

What I really admire is the way you talk to your staff.. you give instructions clearly and you always seem to say 'please'. 'Please Adam could you do this' and 'please Jen could you do that'. Although clearly you take no sh@t. Absolutely inspirational gaffer or really really good editing 😉🤣. You and your work mates are inspirational mate.

Love the comments about the vapour barrier and that you addressed basically everything that people might ask. Low occupancy is clearly the key here but I wonder if all of your customers understand that. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting at all that you are doing anything wrong. From what I can tell, your garden rooms are top notch. But not sure people think of those buildings as limited occupancy/use spaces.

Interesting that British gypsum states that boards are not to be installed vertically but horizontal. They also require stud adhesive to the boards as well. How you do that with a vapour barrier beats me!

@@thegardenroomguru I don’t think it relates to the integrity of compliant stud work etc, it’s more to do with how glancing light and sun light strikes the boards . It reduces the amount of joins and these joins are halfway up the wall in a less reactive light reflation . Once the lights go on you can’t pick any joins etc.

Good video, I was looking at the insulation cost and doing it you way (with smaller sheets) is probably easier but around £4 a sqm more expensive than using 1200 x 2400 sheets. Another option is to use 450 spacing but that could cause you issues with boarding unless you use 1800x1200 boards.
@bigdmed955
@bigdmed955 2 жыл бұрын
PZ has more contact with the crew head as it has 4 extra micro slots for grip the (little cross bits/lines) sit in the corresponding grooves of a pzcscrew head pH only have 4 points or torque contact. pH (Philips) head, PZ (pozi) head. And the pozi really means a more positive contact. There you know now. You would actually be surprised how many, very skilled craftsmen (or women) don't know that. 🤣🤣👊👊

We were thinking of running our electrics from a spare 32 amp MCB / RCD from the house consumer unit. Thanks.
