Firstly, sorry about the quality of the video and sound in some parts.
A combination of factors has left it looking somewhat boring and amaterish in parts.
Staffing and memory loss!
Anyway, we have built the walls and put the roof on.
The back wall was clad on the floor and lifted into place by two old men, but we got it up!
Walls are 4x2 and the roof is 5x2 as is the front wall.
The steel is a 160mm x80mm hollow beam and this will support the roof over the doors.
Thanks for watching and subscribing 🙌🏻

Hi there. Really enjoying your videos. It’s a mark of honesty that you include the little cockups (usually down to material quality) that we get in any job rather than hiding them and trying to make out it’s always a perfect build. Really helps others who will inevitably hit the odd snag. Well done team!

Just about finished my own, it guy not a joiner, but using the build pack and your videos got myself a cracking office, can't thank you and the team enough, without the build pack and videos could never have even considered it. You obviously spend a significant amount of your own time over and above full time work (and then some) doing, so greatest respect, to anyone who moans/complains/ judges, 2 words and the second one is off, Liam and his team don't need to do these and honestly, not only do I have a great office, but I also still have my sanity in the craziness of the last 2 years, as watching you and the team and doing my own has been a great mental outlet for me. Still love watching the videos, keep up the fantastic work.

Another great vid Liam. I am just so glad a seasoned pro like yourself is blowing when building the walls (makes me feel less unfit as I was blowing doing mine). Also glad you mentioned that the build pack suggests adding the OSB and battens at the end, whereas when you build the wall you do it all on the ground which makes it easier, just harder/heavier to lift (but that’s when you call on your mates and tell them there some beers waiting for them 😀)

When you're short on people and you can't film everything maybe setup a camera like a gopro on a tripod in the corner of the garden so it can record everything. Then when you get home and start editing, you can do a relaxed voice over explaining everything you're doing.

@AO-hv8un

exactly, once the walls are up, they can even mount the little gopro ontop of the one of the wall plates using a flexible tripod, or clamp it onto one of the wall 4x4s, and let it capture everything inside the build. Search "Building A House In 9 Minutes: A Construction Time-Lapse" on youtube to see how they use a gopro to record everything.

I ordered all my timber in May and the OSB3 roofing birds were about £23. When fitting them in august I needed 1 more and that was £52!! Prices are crazy, to the point that my build is now just a big shed as insulation has priced me out of finishing the build to be a garden room. If you can afford to order it now, do it rather than gamble because it’s likely to go up rather than down.

You clearly know what you're doing and your experience shows. I disagree on the risk assessment on Jenny's hair though - you have got this wrong. You are saying that her head is usually far enough away from the blade, but that is not how you should look at it. The real risk is that 1 in 1000 chance time that someone calls her name right as there is a gust of wind and she reaches for something all at the same time. Her head comes closer for just a second. That is when tragedy strikes!

Just read this to Jen She says it’s not her 1st rodeo, if she is called whilst using the saw, she would do what anyone else would do. A. Carry on cutting the wood and answer later B.
