大きな木は　防犯点から言うと　目隠しになります‼️其れに、風の通りがなく　外から。‼️観ても‼️中から　観ても‼️すっきりして、とても綺麗ですね✨長い間

Very glad that you kept kinmokusei in this garden. In Hawaii, I have white blossom mokusei that has been quite resilient even with my untrained pruning. I was quite surprised at how much you pruned this mokusei but look forward to seeing how it becomes part of the new garden. You (and your staff) continue to be an inspiration to your subscribers!

私はじいちゃんが勝手に植えた木をだいぶ切りました。木には申し訳なかったけれど色々大変でした。自分で植えたのではイワミツバとワイヤープランツを地植えしたのを全部抜きました。最初に調べてちゃんと植えなきゃ植物の命が可哀想と反省しています。

Cutting the juniper was like shearing a sheep! Is selling the old trees too much trouble, and cutting them is easier? I know sometimes it's very expensive to buy such a big tree for a new garden, so I had assumed it would be dug up and sold. Is it hard to sell trees like that in Japan?

In Japan, we don't often sell trees rooted from ordinary gardens.
