lots of projects showing. Glad you are staying busy. I know how much it hurts to lose a part of yourself like Kitty was. I've been there too, and yes we all still miss her. Thank you for showing shots of her sometimes. Lots of love heading your way to you and Gary.

Are your gourds the kind you can hollow out and dry? Maybe you could make hanging bird feeders with them? Love your garden tours! Everything looks really good! It’s just been so hot here since June that everything in my garden is hanging on, but definitely not thriving! It’s nice to see someone else’s garden that’s doing great! Thanks so much for sharing!

The birds don't come to your bird garden, they come to the Famous RG Bird Resort & Spa. They've heard the tweets and re-tweets of fellow frequent flyers. They flock to discover the newest bathing facility of the season. There's always a variety of seeds, fresh caterpillars, exotic fruits AND it's fledgling friendly. (They say it's better than Disney.)

Great garden tour Robbie ❣️🌟❣️ Even with the heat the plants are growing. So many zucchinis 😍 I love them ❤️ and tomatoes everywhere ❗ Oh Robbie I'm so happy 😄 Yesterday when I was coming back from work I stopped on the flower shop and I've found turmeric 😇 at last ❗ I bought it of course for 20 euros. It must have at least five or six in the pot and one already is flowering ❣️ I haven't done anything yet cause I can't find the time but maybe today I'll see what to do with it. I have to see your videos with the turmeric again to help how to plant it back and separate it. Oh I'm so so happy ❣️❣️❣️ Give a big hung to your sweet granddaughter❤️ I will see again your video. I really don't have enough time to work in my gardens as I need. I feel so tired and I have so much to do... Thank you so much me sweet friend for the beautiful tour❤️❤️❤️ that snake was big 😱 Take care my friend and stay cool ❣️❣️❣️

I read your other message, so I know you got your turmeric planted. You can plant the turmeric any way you want, and then, when you go to take it out later, you can see how it grows and then you can change things up later on. I will hug my wonderful granddaughter for you❤️ she is a sweetheart. Gary found a large 6foot gopher snake yesterday, the largest one we have ever seen, he moved it in our yard in a safe place. Holding it, the tail was on the ground with the head passed his head, we didn’t know they can get that big. And yet it was so sweet and docile. I am not getting things done in my garden that I needed to do, but, oh well… I know I will soon. I did a bit tonight in the dark, mainly removing over grown mint. You take care, please take it easy, stay well ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and again Thank you for the Super Thanks 💕

I've never tasted this gourd. I look up the internet, apparently the seeds can be eaten as pepitas like any other squash. So though it involves more work for you, if you don't want to just throw them away to the landfill, then harvest the seeds and compost the squash meat. The seeds could be given to birds, made into pepitas or maybe vegetable milk if they taste fine? How do you feel about eating the young shoots and immature gourds? I see that's the way they are used in Asian cuisine. Or just split the gourd and throw the plant in your own mixture of Dave's fetid swamp water. Most plants and seeds have rotten in swamp water after a year and the solid matter can be thrown in the compost pile. And if the plants are still stubbornly alive, I just submerge them again and let them rot some more. More nutrients to be released later. That's all there is. I'm always enthusiastic about squash. Not to eat myself, but to feed my worm bin. Worms looooooooooove squashes. You just need to open the fruit for the worms to have access to it. Otherwise they have to wait for the fruit to decompose until soft enough for them to be able to nibble their way in. And an intact squash can sit pretty for months. The smaller pieces the squash is broken into, the faster it degrades. As I look at your bonanza of figleaf gourd plants, I see material to create more soil and compost.
