Spring has come to our backyard garden! Since moved here last summer, we've been waiting for this moment for so long. In this video, we'd share with you our current kitchen vegetable garden, perennial beds, and one of our favorite seasonal fava bean recipes. Hope you like it!

I also have a backyard garden it’s the start of my 3 year now but there is still so much to learn and I appreciate your tips, tricks and visual presentation. your videos are always so wholesome and inspiring! it's not gardening season where i live quite yet (pacific northwest), but I'm starting my seedlings inside right now(kale, rainbow chard, spinach). looking forward to when my family's garden looks like yours

Lovely content.. I enjoyed every second.. 🥰 One tip you don't have to peel broad beans, esp. when the pods are younger and the beans inside are smaller . The pods are edible and very delicious.. We love our Turkish '' Zeytinyağlı Bakla'' It is an olive oil dish Just saute diced onions with olive oil, be generous with olive oil. . Add the broad beans and some chopped dill. In a bowl add a spoon of flour !/2 cup of water mix well and half the juice of a lemon and salt. Cover and slowly simmer until they are done. Add fresh dill sizzle some more olive oil. We love to eat it with Turkish yogurt.
