It sucks that EA isn’t willing to fix the mystery portal, but at least they’re willing to fix these problems.

Ranks have been fixed, and now we are awaiting the larger EA anticheat implementation. Unfortunately, however, mods and a potential Mystery Portal reconfiguration are no longer in the picture.

i believe am supposed to have a rank somewhere in the 40s but i have rank plate 52 cause thats how game logic works

Can't wait to play GW2 again. Haven't played since like October of last year since these issues have been happening. And I'm on CONSOLE, I just don't want to risk losing anything

Yea, I haven’t logged back in since either for that same reason. I figured if the Rux bug from a while ago affected all versions, then so would the rank bug.

I swear the other day I was at rank plate 2, but now I’m at rank plate 4… (the reason it’s low is I spent most of my days in ps4, and so my rank on PC is low)

I don t know what do you mean by fixed because last night i got into a game where there where hackers, instakilling, non available characters, no gravity, no map progression, only anarchy

Gw2 had several unfinished projects that were left that way because development solely focused on bfn. Shame because we lost the private play boss hunt list, idea of ctt becoming an online mode, and the sad excuse of a portal rotation we have now. They shouldve delayed bfn by atleast one year. The game was nowhere near a finished state and gw2 needed a true finale.

⁠⁠⁠@@superbrainz2357they couldve easily made CCT be online, and private play boss hunt should also have been pretty easy. The most things we lost were the bosses and more events. The whole thing with the Talk-O telescope linking to BFN also was just scrapped, along with torch wood and hover goat having variants which just became scrapped in favor of costumes. That is what made me quit the game, since they basically just ruined the hype.

@@Azurethewolf168Yeah the tale of the taco event was so lame in retrospect. It's embarrasing how badly they fumbled the bag on the end of gw2's lifecycle.

@@superbrainz2357 yeah, it basically did very little. I don’t get why they didn’t update it longer since it had more potential than the original. BFN was literally made to just make money when they could’ve done better with updating GW2 instead. Did they have plans to make it permanent? I wonder what happened to make GW2’s end of development so quick and disappointing.

@@Azurethewolf168 Its actually pretty clear given what we now know up to this point. Project hot tub and several other projects were canned due to popcaps very poor leadership as backed by former popcap employees in both tweets and danerades videos, in fact popcap is notoriously a toxic work environment all the back to when they laid off george fan (og pvz creator). It cost popcap vancouver almost everything since it was so far in development so they hastily put together a game from the remains known now as bfn as seen in the concept art and how 80s literally has eddies (hot tub protag) clothes. Given how badly bfn had to be rushed it no doubt hit remaining gw2 development hard thus causing all the remaining ideas for the game to be canned as everything was loaded onto bfn in one last hail mary. Given that bfn flopped with veterans horribly and failed to find a new audience they could no longer fund the game and the studio and devs were shutdown and scattered. We've lost so much in this franchise it doesnt even hurt anymore because i'm already dead inside at this point.
