You never cease to amaze me at how much you can squeeze into a container, Laura. I looked at all those plants and thought….she’s got to be kidding….no way…..especially that first large plant you placed in the corner. But in true Laura fashion you did it! I should know better than to doubt you…..ever. That is one gorgeous succulent arrangement. She must’ve been overjoyed when she saw it. This was a great learning experience. Thank you. 😊💖🦋🕊

You should watch another Laura - Laura Eubanks, Design for Serenity, on youtube. She does succulent gardens. She also crams plants, cuttings etc into her landscapes and planters.

I absolutely love that she’s uncut and ad hoc so if she makes mistakes she lets you know and you see how she pivots and fixes things, makes her teaching very applicable

If you put down a piece of masking tape before drilling, the drill bit won't slip. Also better to be drilled from the inside (on top of a wood chock) so there's no burr after drilling.

Could also punch a dimple in it with an awl first to keep the bit from wandering.

It's also much easier on you and your drill bits to start with a smaller hole and then ream out a bigger hole with progressively larger bits.

Oh, my gracious! Laura, you are a beast!! You have a true talent for seeing the potential in things. I was a total doubter that you could even fit the mangave into the container ...at all. And yet, it only took up a small bit of a corner. The mangave anchored the arrangement beautifully and became the perfect central point of focus. An absolutely gorgeous arrangement.

Please pray for Cuba and Florida in regards to hurricane Ian. Where I live in Seminole county above Orlando Florida. It's going to go straight across the center of Florida which will be catastrophic damage from fort Myers all the way up to Clearwater Tampa. And then cross over to the East Coast. They're expecting wide spread high flooding, water and power outages.🙏

🪴 what a beautiful housewarming gift! My first thought (as usual) … “there’s no way all those plants will fit in that container…” Conclusion.. never doubt Laura’s ability to smoosh some plants together in a beautiful way! On a serious note- you have taught me that gifts (plant arrangements, flowers, terrariums, time spent together) are given value by the time invested and heartfelt thought put into them versus money spent. So thank you for that, Laura.
