Laura, You may never see this, but I just had to write. I LOVED THIS VIDEO! My wonderful Mom and I use to garden together and did so as long as I can remember. She told me that we started long ago when I was a toddler and she was on a tight budget. She would plant and I would pull them up and bring them to her and she would plant and I would pull up again and so it would go until she taught me to dig a hole! Then everything changed and we could plant together! I have so many beautiful memories. Laughing and loving gardening together. My wonderful Mom passed away August 2015 after a brave fight against cancer. I miss her every single day. This video with your Mom made me so happy for you and your mother. Enjoy every moment. I garden alone now. My daughter is just not into it. But I remember my own wonderful Mom. I garden in her honor and sometimes my tears water my plant. Thank you. XO

Lol...my mother gave me the exact same shoe advice a few years ago when she noticed my flat canvas sneakers. I said, "But mom, my feet never hurt". Hi Laura! It's so nice to see your mom and you get out like this. Famillies dont take the time to do things like this any more. So it warms my heart to see that you take this time together. 😊 Precious memories! Maybe in a few years sweet Benjamin can join the fun! My mom and I use to do this too. I really miss doing this. When we were younger mom would fix up a picnic basket and we would go to the mountains (Ozark Mountains, in Missouri) and explore for pinecones, etc. My dad would build a fire for hotdogs. It was amazing! Great memories. I've already cut some grapevines, and few other things. God bless you and your family!

I love walking in the woods and collecting all the foliage, twigs, spruces, pine cones, and so much more to use for Christmas displays. To sit by the stream/creek and imbibe in some wine and cheese with sourdough bread from our local bakery. I love it. Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure with us. This video was awesome! I hope you realize what a gift you have with your mom. This is how I was with my mom until she was stolen from us by cancer. I miss her so much! But, I am so happy to see that there are other folks out there who are having a great time with their moms.
