I’ve been watching, and loving your videos for several months and I can’t express how inspirational you are to me! I just wanted you to know! Yesterday we were at a doctor’s office and they had “Garden Answer” playing on their waiting room TV! My husband was so excited and so was I! Lol! It was honestly very refreshing from the normal CNN or Fox News playing for people to argue over. Everyone in the waiting room was talking about how beautiful your yard is and how you were inspiring them to get outside! ❤️ It was, for once, a great doctor’s office waiting room experience!😆🥰

A garden tour and a puppy?!?!?! This is the best day. We have a German/Australian shepherd mix, and she is the best dog. Molly is adorable! I'm always so happy to see that we're not the only crazy animal family in the world. Raising children around animals definitely gives them a deep respect for them. We have 2 kids (12 and 8) and they are both big time animal lovers. This just makes my heart so happy to see! :)

The love of you guys started small, with cacti and succulents. Then time passed, I fell harder and learned so much from you. My poor husband has taken care of our little garden, alone. This spring, I am stepping out into the garden, with a new and strong motivation, joy and ideas! So many ideas! I am taking a place that has been shabbylooking for years, and I am creating a place with stone, for my very first statue. It is a girl holding a tray in one hand, and a bird in her other hand. I named her Grace. She will be companied by a light concrete pot with something beautiful in it, and lights. Solarpowered lights, that shoot upwards at her, lighting her up at night. Laura, you have made this special feeling grow at the pit of my stomach, and I cannot thank you enough! The things that you have tought me, thoughts that you have plantet (pun intended!) in my head. This spring, its all spilling out! The only thing «wrong» is that yesterday we got snow, and I had to scrape ice from my car this morning! But I do so enjoy your videoes in the meantime, sucking up inspiration and ideas as I go along! I cannot congratulate you guys enough! On the 500 000 milestone that you have met, on little Molly, on just everything! You guys inspire so many of us! From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

Molly is a long-hair shep just like my Simon! She's beautiful!! You've probably already discovered, EVERYTHING goes in the mouth. Shepherds, moreso than other breeds, get very attached and when left alone for any length of time go through major separation anxiety. That's when the destruction really begins. Simon didn't grow out of that until he was about five years old and it was safe to leave him alone without fear of my sofa being in shreds. Enjoy your beautiful new member of the family!! She will bring much joy to your family.

What I really like about this video is seeing the dirt and mud and mess along the new brick path, because it shows that the gorgeous beauty of your yard takes a lot of mess and work just like I deal with at my house. Sometimes I feel like mine is all dirt and mess and never getting to the end point. I look forward to seeing the sides of the path develop with your planting choices. It will be good to see how to change that pile of dirt to beautiful gardening soil.

After ten years of no flowers, you inspired me to plant them again. I had 12 big beautiful urns with Proven Winners flowers and they were beautiful!! Having them made my summer and I will be planting them up again for this summer.😀

Laura, you should plant a strawberry patch in that little area in front of the vegetable garden. That would be so cute for Benjamin to pick strawberries for breakfast or strawberry shortcake during summer. Then, in the area by the chicken coop where you are going to put flowers, you should make cute rows (keep it a little country) of different greens for the chickens to eat. You could let them out to forage thru there and it would be good for them to get out of the run for a bit. You could still keep it neat and tidy. But that could be their dedicated area for food just for them. You could do edible flowers for them too.

Puppy training tip: Carry really small soft treats (they make training treats too) in your pockets and every time you call her give her one. She will be trained to always come to you. She does already but that may fade as she becomes a rebellious teenager. Much love

Congrats on 500k subscribers. What a feat! I enjoy your videos tremendously, and you have given me the nudge I needed to add new and different plants to my gardens after finding your channel last spring. I even added some raised bed veggies this year and will be heading out soon to plant some lettuce. Sugar snap peas were planted last weekend, and the garlic I planted in the fall looks fab. I had some Russian Sage at my former home and just ordered some to plant in my present home. I can't wait! The brick path is to die for, and I am anxious to see the finished chicken coop. I'm so envious of all that you've done so far. Mollie is adorable and a great addition to your sweet family, but I miss seeing Russell! Benjamin is, indeed, a very lucky little boy!
