Hey thank you for the reference to Dr. Norman C. Deno's books, I've found the pdfs through the links you provided and so far excellent material with information that I haven't come across in other books. A great resource when stratifying many types of tree and perennial seeds.

Humm, Well the most info I could find on making a GA3 solution. Just tapped a dusting on my seeds and soaked with towel with alcohol and some water. Fingers crossed. lavender seeds said to use it...

I have a ton of seed that is over 6 years old easily I tried to pop some but had terrible results. Some of the seed I own can not be purchased anymore and I don't want to lose the genetics!

Thank you for your videos , you’ve helped my garden very much , if I may ask , how do you grow nasturtiums ? I cannot get them to germinate , I planted them in regular soil and nothing , I’ve replanted other seeds from a different company and nothing , so I planted some from both companies soaked them , planted them and put them in the refrigerator , took them out after 30 days and nothing , I’ve planted them outside and nothing .. what am I doing wrong ?

You can't speed up growth. Plants only grow at a certain rate. Provide nutrients, water and light.

wait for it do develop its first true leaves. then start fertilizing with a high nitrogen fertilizer, but it depends on what your growing. water heavily too, but not too much to wash out fertilizer salts

i don't know about growth but i remember from my high school biology, photosynthesis can be sped up by co2, light, and temperature until to a point.

I am using pure GA - probably 99%. 90% should work just as well.

yes. im a bit late, but, i reccomend manually removing the hard pericarp aroudn the seed, or at least tear a part of it off to reveal the embryo. then soak the seeds in room temp to cold water . then you can either stratify or use the ga3 method.

Why not use seaweed instead. Does seaweed not contain Gibberellic Acid ?

seaweed extract does contain gibberellic acid, but it's not very concentrated. it contains about 5ppm to 10ppm gibberellic acid, but, for seed germination, you'd usually use about 100ppm to 1000ppm gibberellic acid. you could probably find a seaweed extract that contains more gibberellic acid, but concentrated gibberellic acid is dirt cheap compared to seaweed extract
