Love to see the results of this method! I had a difficult situation growing Gardenia in soil or cocopeat. But happy to see within 10 days the branch starts producing roots. I use rain water and cut all the leaves in halves. Inside the house and near the window the branches are producing roots. Hope after 20 days I shall be able to plant in pot.

I was successful using Root Boost rooting hormone powder in a DIY greenhouse I had left in my closet I rooted 4 cuttings and now have a few bushes in the making there starting to get new growth I give it about a year or two and they’ll be actual baby bushes 😁 I tried the water method but my cat knocked the cop over and chewed the branch and RIINED it he was fine luckily I didn’t know at the time but gardenia can be toxic to cats so I can’t do this method
