@alicetheibault9440
@alicetheibault9440 Жыл бұрын
My personal take is that Tim was himself a milk monitor (hence why he's so convinced that "nobody respects him"), and he was making a "why didn't I think of that?" face. This to my mind is the generous interpretation, because the alternative is that Tim used to look down on and bully milk monitors when he was at school (or at least accept such things without pushback).
@gustavoadolfolujanmoreno6279
@gustavoadolfolujanmoreno6279 Күн бұрын
Everybody has its own interpretation. I believe Tim is a smart guy who knows that Gareth is annoying but harmless. As a matter of fact, I don't think Tim thinks Gareth is pathetic. It is the only exciting thing in his boring job. For me, the realization was to know that Gareth was actually the "div kid" at his school and he was made milk monitor. Gareth explicitly says that kids were rude to him. I truly believe Tim felt sorry for him and possibly understood his behavior. That's the reason he stopped the argument after that.

Anyone else ever noticed that after Tim said this Gareth never brags about being the team leader again? All through the first series then in this first episode of the second series Gareth says he’s the team leader, but as soon as Tim completely talks it down saying it’s nothing Gareth stops telling everyone he’s team leader he never mentions it again to anyone. 😂
