@@bigbad25If you really think England peaked under Southgate then you’re deluded. England should’ve comfortably won last Euros (without the need to go to penalties), and should’ve played the final at the World Cup, under a competent manager. They’ve had the best squad in world football for the last 5-6 years.

I bet Southgate picks all his friends including the injured lot, so expect Maguire,Shaw,Trippier,Stones,Walker,Henderson,Phillips,Rashford,Dunk etc to all be on his notepad before he picks the squad. Obviously Kane,Rice,Foden and Saka pick themselves for good reason so will be interesting to see his "back ups" who will especially in defence end up playing anyway due to the mass defensive injury list.
