How to crochet a simple five-petal flower:
Yarn: 100% cotton Sugar'n Cream, Hot Green
Hook: 5.0mm
Big leaf:
Make base chain of 6 chain stitches
In second chain from hook, single crochet
These stitches in the each chain after: double, treble, double, slip stitch treble, half double, slip stitch
Small leaf:
Make base chain of 5 chain stitches
In second chain from hook, single crochet
These stitches in the each chain after: double, treble, double, slip stitch

Sorry, forgot to add that I also intend to make the flowers - 3 to 5 along with the leaves on each end. Tk u again for yr help & tk u for sharing yr talent & pattern with us - like the way u did the video - each to understand & not too fast.

Belong to a group called Random Acts of Crochet Kindness & wud luv to make this adorable garland along with leaves & flowers - I am housebound so will donate some of these to a nursing home but don't want to make it as big (hv 135 residents to crochet for plus am making other things like worry worms, flowers, snowmen, octopuses, hearts, etc.) I thought maybe 3-5 flowers with lg & sm leaves on each end but do not know where to start - wud I start like yrs - the ch10 for hanging then ch20 before leaves??? Wud appreciate any help u can give me - sorry, I am not good at judging things like that.
