As a Frenchwoman, garlic is very important to me! I don't like it, I love it! I eat it in all its forms! Even raw on a baguette and a bit of cheese (happiness)! But now, did you know garlic jam? No ? It's never too late to discover new things! This jam is divine! It is used to put in savory pies, to serve with a cheese platter, roast meat, as a sauce for bbq, etc! Good tasting !
Ingredients :
500g garlic
180ml water
1 sage leaf
150g sugar (3/4 cup)
1 teaspoon of cinnamon and
1 - You can use any type of garlic.
2 - Sugar can be replaced by a sugar substitute.
3 - With this quantity I had 2 small jars. They can be kept for several months if sterilized, if the can is opened (about 2-3 weeks).
4 - 500 grams of garlic (without the skin)
