The lyrics are very beautiful. Also very literate, in the sense of having a rich language that only get by being exposed by a lot of high-quality literature & traditional folk songs.

Being of Swedish descent on my grandmothers side. I'm very proud of both my Svenska and Norse heritage. Love this song. 60 years old and I still love the rock and roll. Keep up the good work. Keep on rockin. My mother was half Swedish and Norwegian. My father was full blooded Norwegian. I don't care what you think. I know my heritage.

Are the music and lyrics to this track from.a traditional Swedish folksong? The same question can also be asked for all the other tracks in the new album. Have to say, as a long term Garmarna fan, this new style is a natural evolution to their musical style.

Best song on the album. And the video is also cool. Both the song and the video remind me of bands Röyksopp and Fever Ray. But Guds Speleman is still my favorite album. I even sing your Herr Manneling and Varulven as lullabies to my baby son! It's a shame that new stuff is so much pop and not so much folk. Still glad you're back!
