I absolutely love my Tactix 7, one of the cool things about it is the ability to change up the look with the quickfit band system. I picked up the Quickfit 26 Titanium Dive band and installed it- love the look of this vs the other Garmin titanium band I had that ended up failing after just a few months.

After much consideration, I finally purchased one for my Epix Pro Gen 2, and I couldn't be happier about it. It looks really awesome, it's lightweight, the finishing is great, it just reflects the quality of an original Garmin item. I really recommend it, especially if you can get it on a good deal. After about a year of wearing it, it still looks great. It's a very substantial bracelet that fits the watch well! I think you're gonna love it.

After seeing the vented version on a co-worker's Tactix 7 Pro, I was nearly set on ordering one for mine. Then I saw this video. Appreciate the summary as it helped in deciding on what to order, which was the dive version 🍺

Thanks for the video, it helped me decide between the two styles of straps, opting for the more rugged looking one rather than the vented for my tactix delta.

I have got the same watch in the black version. Does the color of the band match with watch. Am looking to buy either this or the vented one

@@vineetvasudevan9999 The "Diver" is a little thicker and got the diver extension. It looks sturdy. The Vented is more "organic" with less edgy links. And yes, the color matches perfectly. The Vented is more "city" the Diver is more "industrial". The DLC coating is beautiful and, for what I know from former users on Descents, it is resistant to everyday abuses.

Yeah before I bought it I searched for some reviews with no luck so figured I'd post this lol. I really love this band, has a beefy, tough look and is comfortable on the wrist. loosened mine a bit since shooting this video and love the way it wears. No issues with snagging hair, it is a band that really fits the look of the Tactix, no regrets other than I wish I would have grabbed this a year ago when I bought the Tactix!

I bought this band based on your recommendation and its a great quality band, but I find it very hard to open the clasp as mine doesn't open nearly as easily as yours does in this video.

That's interesting- try spraying some silicone spray into the latch assembly..

Great review. Was looking into buying one of the titanium bands. The new band gives your watch a 2 tone color scheme. Did the old titanium band color match your watch.

Seemed like the old one was slightly closer to the color of the tactix. The new one looks great and I think the lighting in the video magnified the difference, in person it looks like it was made for the watch. Love the way it looks/feels.

Nice watch strap. I also have a Tactix and looking for this strap. On the garmin website it looks black, but grey in your review. Have you a part number for this as I want to make sure I order the correct one. €300 here in ireland for it from Garmin 😔

Can you tell me how much extension the dive part gives? I am trying to find a black clasp that has some form of tool less micro adjustment to deal with temperature related wrist sizing. I suspect this won't be fine enough though as it looks like it is either in our out and adds quite a few mm of extension. Thanks

The extension increases the length by approximately 5/8". The clasp has 4 adjustment points but it's not that easy to adjust on the fly. I just run mine a little loose and it works well for me even during the hot, humid months down here in Tennessee.

I bought this band, but the locking clasp failed after a few months. The first stage locking mech pin has broke off and no longer locks in place. Same thinv that happened your first band. Not impressed as all i was doing was taking it off to charge. Not great for €300

I am really curious how the band has held up over time, I've had a number of off brand aftermarket watch bands over the years that cost very little but also don't hold up at all, scratching/wearing off coatings and exposing the shiny metal underneath :'( ... but I am hoping that you get what you pay for (they are 1/10th the cost of the one featured here) and the Garmin one would stand up over time. Can you confirm?

The Garmin one is expensive but it's holding up great, one tiny scratch after months of hard use. I don't baby the watch, I'm very impressed with the quality of it.
