The "Gallons Used" is what the G3X calculates for each flight and can be reset manually or you can select for it to automatically reset every time you fill up. The K-Factor can be adjustment in the deep menu that you showed or simply make the adjustment as you originally did using the percentage you want to adjust. Mine was off by 13%.

Thank You for very important info Papa. I don't have a G3X on my Grumman due to I don't have 20K in my Bank account, but it is in my bucket list after I hit the Fat Man.

The Button at 8:50 is named "Calibrate Fuel flow", not "Calculate Fuel flow". Just to make your Video perfect ;o) I really enjoy your Videos al lot. Keep on!

I have a rotax and the totalizer is off about 3 gals. Under configuration in settings I don’t have a K value just a total field. I think it’s a Rotax fadec issue thing that Garman hasn’t addressed. Bummer as there’s no way to adjust my fuel totalizer.

We just put a GI275 EIS in a C182. The k factor setting is only available in config screen. In the pilot calibration screen, adjustments are limited to +\- 10%. We had 3 275s and a gfc500 installed professionally, and there were so many issues with setup, config, calibration, communications bus…and garmin support was only marginally helpful, even to the certified installer. One of their responses to our fuel flow issue was literally that we couldn’t find how to make an adjustment to fuel flow setup because they don’t publish the info in the manuals…even though it’s required to be configured specific to each airplane. $80,000 later, I’m impressed by Garmin products, and filed a formal complaint about their support team. It was an actual joke.
