Double U Hunting Supply's Review of the new Garmin TT15 mini Track and Train and T5 mini Tracking GPS collars for small hunting dogs. These new collars are specially designed for smaller hunting dogs like beagles, terriers, feists, and small hound pups.

Can't say enough good things about Buddy and his crew, I have the Alpha and 3 TT15 collars, I will be ordering one of these for sure!!

hi first of all congratulations for making such great devices, i will have two questions 1) alpha TT15 the leash to 100 devices mini or I wavered between the normal size of our copies, too we call medium-sized breeds of turkey I use TT 15 already, but if I receive as new TT15 mini'm not sure such changes we wonder if a benefit olurmu I welcome your suggestions on this matter 2) I saw the advertisement of alpha 200, there is radar on it but I think it has not been released, do we have a chance to buy this device (alpha 200)? Thank you.

I'm having a hard time keeping my TT15 working. Bought a brand new alpha 1000 I think and the collars keep quiting. Now there's not any in stock and I want to go hunting

I should have ordered the mini and a larger collar for it. Instead, I ordered the TT15, which apparently doesn't have the power save mode.

I wish the collars stayed charged longer like for a whole week.

I know its an older video, but I have a question. I just picked up a 200i bundle that came with a TT15 mini at a great price. Bad news is that I have a full sized lab. Because the neck size is bigger, i realize its going to offset the antenna a bit. Can I use a tie strap to re-align the antenna into a more vertical fashion on my larger neck dog and get by with this for a season or two? I will likely ugrade at some point to a TT25, but am hoping I can get by with the tt15 Mini for a year or two first.

How big of a dog can use them... I have Karelians 5 months old, 45lbs the have a fairly small neck... Will grow to 55lbs as adults

Hello David, a dog that size we would recommend looking at the TT25 as it will have a smaller housing that a full sized TT15 and the TT15 mini collars have been discontinued.

Can the 15mini connect to the alpha Astro 430

The TT15 mini will connect to both the Alpha series and the Astro 430 however it will not have training capability on the Astro tracker.

Buddy, i am trying to figure out a way to use one on my pet bobcat, you think there's a way they can shorten the antenna for me, or do you have any ideas, maybe another kind of collar. I really want to let her out to play but i need to be able to track her if she gets lost, thanks, Roost

If antenna whip length is an issue it does not drastically affect the range to just zip tie so that it does not stick out excessively. If it's the GPS antenna being too long to cinch down around the neck it cannot be shortened but sometimes people will reverse the collar strap on the tracking collar and it allows them to tighten the collar down slightly tighter.

@@DoubleUHuntingSupply well it dont have 2 antennas does it. So I can zip tie the gps antenna around the collar, or with the collar I guess and it dont hurt reception. I worry that 14oz is too much but maybe not for a bob

@@DoubleUHuntingSupply there's a new collar out by Fi, looks good, light, 8 days battery, no range limit. New company but they only do biz by email you cant actually talk to em, what a croc o shyt that is, they wont be in the game long like that

@@Hugeroost The whip is the VHF antenna and the GPS antenna is the built in black strap with the small box separate from the battery box. Not sure anyone has tried a bobcat.

@@DoubleUHuntingSupply well i think it weights what 7oz, may be a bit much for a bob not sure, you have any suggestions, there has to be something out there that would work. I want to try the new Fi but have had zero luck even getting them on the phone which is not a good sign, thanks Buddy....Roost
