I think it should be pointed out that Newcastle haven’t said they’re going to get players from Saudi, it was speculation from elsewhere. Also, it’s not a vote against the Saudi League, it wasn’t against loans between same ownership clubs.

Trevor’s goal was nuts in terms of his motion but the goalie was way off his line and the goal isn’t “top-corner” enough so i just don’t think his is the greatest but that’s all subjective

For me the best overhead is Rivaldo against Valencia 2001. The chest control, the form, not to mention the fact that it is from outside the box with very little initial velocity. The context around it is perfect as well. Last minute, completing a hatrick, sending Barca to Champions League against a very strong Valencia team.

It's not about loaning from the Saudi league but associated clubs. Clubs like Forest will use their links such as Olympiakos. Just all the talk is around Saudi because of newcastle because the big clubs are scared.

Many people have scored from the half way. Many people have scored from weird angles... But not many have done both. Personally though... I prefer the garnacho goal. The technique to run away from the goal to get it top corner against a world class keeper is insane.

I think the one thing that most people don't realize about the Garnacho goal is that he had to run out five to ten metres to get on the end of the ball. He was not standing still.

The problem I have with the foul on Alisson for the city goal is that, as far as I can tell, there are no laws that give goalkeepers more protection in a situation like this. If you apply the laws to a goalkeeper you have to do it consistently for every other player on the pitch, in this way any time a defender or attacker touches another players arm it should be a foul. Which will be rubbish. If that had been a defender being nudged away from a defensive header there is no chance it is ever given as a foul. Goalkeepers absolutely should be available for exactly the same amount of contact as any other player on the pitch, for the same consequences. Either that or we have to put it into writing that making any contact on a goalkeeper is a foul, which is gonna open up a whole new can of worms.

The vote is insane to me. It from what I understand was for teams with the same owners to loan players to one another. As Ben said with Watford. But for Newcastle to be allowed to do it in the Saudi league is insane. Brining those players in on loan and probably not even cover their wages is insane

Garnacheo's is better than Sinclair as same connections but Garnacheo's goes top bins... Sinclair's visually doesn't look quite as good as you always think a keeper should get a shot going central to the goal (don't get me wrong, prob can't save it as not expecting it too!)
