Ever Skater's DREAM Abandoned Spot! We are back with another Skater XL video and this time we get to explore an amazing abandoned gas station map! This map is still a work in progress (although it seems pretty finished to me) but it's a really fun map with a ton of variety of stuff to skate! I've really been enjoying making Skater XL and Session content lately, so let me know what else you want to see in the videos!

Oh, you're still reading the description? That's kinda weird. I guess I'll tell you a bit about myself. My name is Garrett Ginner, I like skateboarding, playing video games, and having fun. I have my main channel where I post vlogs and that kinda stuff, and I decided to start this channel because I've always had a love for playing video games. Now, I'm not actually good at any video games, so I spend a lot of my time playing action games like Skater XL, Descenders, Beam NG, Skate 3, etc. but I'm always looking for new games to play. Hey Garrett, if you plan on doing manual catch in session, always make sure to flick your stick towards the middle of the board, no matter what trick you're doing or foot you catch with, you need to put pressure towards the middle of the board. K, have a great day 👍

The indoor park in this map is Therapy Session or whatever it’s called, basically my favorite SXL map ever!!!

The diy spot is the exact same "ghetto spot" in SKATE 3 before the shipyard/dry dock area.

The park at the bottom of the hill is a pretty good remake of the ghetto spot in skate 3!

Manual catch in Session is considerably harder than SXL so it'll definitely throw you off buttt it is really nice once you get it. Flick the stick to catch and after a while it starts feeling pretty good and starts making more sense

Try incorporating the triggers and sticks for grinds. Like when I want to hit the end of a hand rai with a front noseblunt, I hit it from an angle and have to kinda tap the left trigger then use my sticks to turn my waist and dip my nose and raise my tail to look like a nice looking nose blunt. Combine them and more things look even better and you'll figure more out.

So, sometimes when a rail is sticky for whatever reason. Like on that feeble in the DIY park...if I REALLY want to hit it, sometimes I can adjust grind friction and it will fix it.

There’s an abandoned machine factory near where I like(Uk) which has been turned into a diy skatepark it’s fkn sick there’s two park n think red bull did something there early last year
