My cousin and I head down to Mazeppa Bay with a couple of other friends with relatively low expectations for catching garrick on the surface. The winter months are not usually as good as the summer months in the area, but there's still always a chance with the sardines around.
Our first few sessions didn't yield many results with maybe a follow or two until the easterly picked up. With the first kiss of the east the garrick were fired up, even in the dirty, cold water. We managed 3 each and all were decent size. Seal point yellowtail plugs were the money again as they have been many times before.
Hope you guys enjoy!
