Wrong. When he has nothing to calibrate he calibrates the Turian Hierarchy by using his kick ass skills to climb to the rank of Primarch. Then he calibrates the entire galaxy.

I think that the AV unit for Mass Effect really didn't have to do much 'editing' when came to making the Turian voices do to the metal twang that is natural in Brandon's voice or something like that. All i reacall is there was very little voice editing for Garrus.

Fun fact: of all the krogan characters, Eve's VA is the only one that didn't have any voice filter. Yeah, that lady's voice is really that deep.

@varric I believe it, I've heard other women with voices that deep. There's even contralto singers who can go really deep and sing contralto profondo (female equivalent of tenor) and oktavistka/contralto basso (female equivalent of baritone and bass). Cher is one of the most famous contraltos. Same with Nina Simone - and you've likely heard at least one of her songs if you've ever listened to oldies or heard her songs being covered in media (the tv show Lucifer for example did a cover of Sinner Man in one of their episodes)

What amazes me is that the turian voice actors all had to have some digital porecessing dne to their voices to give it that distinctive flanging, echo effect. Keener can do that whenever he wants.
