@@fluwhiteborbor it should, it takes the textures in real time, tough certain effects can be faulty, you'll need to test it on a per-map basis

3060ti is, imo, a minimum requirement for gmod rtx. i have 3070 and it usually runs 20 fps with ultra settings

sad truth is that you still need at least an rtx 3080-3090 or higher (excluding the 4060 because it sucks lol) to run ray tracing at a playable framerate

@@gumballegal So fx and models break because of ray tracing? I am axking out of curiosity. GTA Definitive Edition also had simlar problams. Is this because the renderer gets changed? GTA DE is still the same engine but unreal engine was implemented for rendering. It is still renderware in it's core.

That's cool, but I thought Gmod doesn't work properly because it doesn't tend to render things offscreen sometimes. Because that was an issue I saw in other footage which caused the lighting to be weird.

that hasn't been a problem for me really; sometimes i'll spot a flickery light on the edge of a room, but that can be quite easily fixed in the Toolkit
