Theory: The naughty ones (specifically the leader) possessed/manipulated Bittergiggle and made him tell the joke that set the Naughty Ones free: Evidence -When we first meet with Bittergiggle again after the naughty ones escape, the first thing he does is apologise to us, even stating “I don’t know what came over me. I just….couldn’t hold myself back…I knew the consequences well, and I still went ahead and told that stupid joke! And now the queens probably dead because of me” one could chalk it up to his programming taking over, but I have another piece of evidence -Tying into why the queen laughed if it was such a bad joke; he states in the 4th game; “The closest people to me denied me what I was made to do, people who were genetically-programmed to laugh at my every joke!” She would’ve laughed either way, the naughty ones knew this, and they were going to exploit that fact, and Bittergiggles probable mental health issues as a result, (Why would anyone make a jester for someone who’d destroy the world if she laughed!? Illogical honestly) -The leader seems to be able to corrupt others, turning them grey/white/dark grey and giving them purple eyes, he could have a minor ability to influence another persons mind, probably telling Bittergiggle (these are probable examples, take these with a grain of salt) “Don’t you wanna make people happy? Go on, you can tell the best jokes in the world!” “They don’t know what they’re talking about the end of the world prophecy’s fake” “They are jealous of you” -They also manipulate Bittergiggle to their side through laughing at his jokes, causing him to fully give in to possession/joining their side, he finally had his dream audience! TLDR: The naughty ones found a weakness in Bittergiggles mental health, they exploited it and turned him into a puppet

I know this is gonna sound insane, but the fact that the Naughty Ones have little ears while also being apparently Sir Dadadoo's kids makes me realize that there might be a reveal that Queen Bouncelia and Sir Dadadoo had kids together, which led to the researchers finding out that they knew how to procreate, which also lead to them figuring out that they were going to rebel. I bet Sir Dadadoo wanted to get out of the kindergarten through violence while Queen Bouncelia wanted to stay with the hopes of keeping the peace and maybe just playing with the kids like she was meant to, and this disagreement led to her trapping them in her pouch. If I'm right, I'm gonna be both mad and confused at the fact that they used interesting environmental story telling and actually good hints in this chapter to foreshadow it.

Plus in the entire series that we've played (GOB 1,2,3,4,6) Banban is trying to find a cure for it, so next chapter, we might see an uncorrupted NabNab! Though, he might be angry due to Banban's plan to sacrifice him to the leech even after calling him "Friend" To back this up, when we are fighting the cursed opila bird, we turned it back to its small form, so there IS a cure, which is to §MĀŚH NabNab with a giant stone wall, so it might turn him back to normal
