This song reminds me of sleeping in my car because I lost my job and became homeless. I woke up and turned the radio on one morning and this song was on. It made me cry, after weeks of walking every day to find a job, I finally found one. This song gave me hope not to give up. Never give up.

My wife died unexpectedly earlier this year. It's beautiful song but it makes me cry.

You can see the hurt in his eyes. This man has been through a lot and I think he uses his singing/songwriting to release some of the stress and his songs have so much meaning. He is one of the few singer/songwriters left with that ability.

Just about the whole Tough All Over is about his wife suicide. My fiance died in a car wreck in the spring of 04 right after this album came out. When I found out what happened to him I could feel his pain in every song because I was feeling the same. This album really helped me get through the death of my fiance. The crazy thing is he's the only country singer I've ever seen in concert and it was with her about 3 years before she died.

I was on the interstate cruising along and this over whelming feeling of being alone, lost and missing my mother. I decided that life was over then and there. I was going to jump median when a semi truck was coming towards me. And that would end of my story .....i just bought Gary Allan CD earlier at truckstop.
