Gary is going to be a top manager , he even sounds like Shankley did. I wish you luck for next season.

That’s the calmest I’ve been watching City lose. They were not far off a solid performance but we’re punished 3 times by a very slick team.

Exeter put in a solid performance. Derby were stronger and they had better quality players. Our first goal conceded was poor but l thought Derbys other 2 goals were quality strikes. Fantastic vocal support from Derby fans. We should hold our heads high and go for the win on Saturday. Definitely seeing better performances from all the city players recently.

To be fair, Exeter played well in parts but just couldn't do enough. Were worth a goal but lost it to a few bits of quality play.

Another manager we’ve met who has played for Derby. Thought I recognised him. 🙂

3 Questions for the Manager.... 1) Why do players not shoot when they get space to shoot around the box anymore? So many times last night there was space to shoot but instead a 3 yard pass to someone who was very quickly closed down was made and the chance was lost.....if you shoot, you get the chance of a Goal, a second chance, a handball, a corner or maybe nothing. With a pass to a man three yards away all you get is nothing! 2) What's wrong with getting an early ball into the box instead of giving it to Rankine to fanny around with and ultimately lose it? Again, numerous times last night he had the opportunity to whip it in early but didn't - which led to nothing. If you whip the ball into the box you get the chance of a Goal, a second chance, a handball, a corner or maybe nothing. With a few step overs and being tackled all you get is nothing! 3) Why short corners and free kicks? Pointless!! Still can't believe it was a 3-0 defeat though, the first goal was a shocker for whoever lost the ball in midfield and the goalkeeper but we played some really good football in spells. Deserved a bit more luck in the game and if there was a bit more quality up top - it could have been a different story. One of the best losing performances I think I have ever seen.

blame FA coaching! or maybe its gary's scottish FA coaching badges making him a WOKE coach?
@deanbaxter81296 ай бұрын
@@lukeburrough2494 They are genuine questions, I only started watching Exeter just after Xmas and they seem to have improved massively since the Portsmouth game but I just don't see how you can score if you don't shoot or get the ball in the box

Thought city held there own for large parts of the game against a good derby side we need to test the keepers more derby werent scared to have a pop from any where niskanen and midfield gave the ball away to many times wich led to the goals but they were well taken
