Enjoy this upscaled version of what I consider to be one of the most emotional and moving songs that I have ever come across. It has been a goal of mine to upgrade my original 480p video to something a little higher res. It has taken hours of trying and tinkering to get it to this stage and I am happy with the result. If you have never come across this version of the song before then you are in for a treat. For me this is the pinnacle of Gary Moore's playing.

@@artofslowblues in the original 60s video, Peter plays a Strat...not sure if it was recorded on the Les Paul? Gary does a good job here but his vocals are not as good as Peter Green's

Despite Gary being relatively unknown in most music circles, and despite that fact that he’s an all time great guitar player, he has a fantastically soulful voice. It’s like soul drips off of him, and he brings it to us, moves us, and leaves us there wondering how this much soul is possible. First time I watched him, my jaw was on the floor, and my soul was in heaven.

I found the Beatles through my older sister. I found Eric Clapton through George Harrison. I found John Mayall through Clapton. I found Peter Green through Mayall. I found Gary Moore through the Green God. I was about thirteen by then and I’ve been a fan for just about 50 years now. Life has been good to me.

0:33. So faithful to the Peter Green performance that it 'misses' the tonic. Pete played this note so subtly that you almost get no attack on the note; it's more like it was just hammered on.

Peter greens original Fleetwood version is the one and only this does not come close that silly vibrato in his voice is most off putting. it's just not in the same ball park as Fleetwood version and if you think it is you are kidding yourself.
