the key for this song had the same affect on me. There is a Christmas special, I think called The Snowman, anyhow, I start crying as soon as it starts. The whole thing is in a minor key.

I thought the same thing, "Still in love with you" is very similar in style! Although Gary only recorded two albums (as far as I know) with Thin Lizzy, him and Phil were mates through their whole lives. If Phil had'nt passed away so young, I bet that he would have been part of Gary's blues revival in the 90’s, at least a song or two would have been fronted by Phil. RIP both of these geniuses ❤️
