He's such a lovely man with no airs and graces! And to think he's 80 now - the man's a legend! I listen to his music every day on my Spotify 60s playlist and Young Girl will always be one of my all time favourites, I was 6 going on 7 when it shot to number 1 in the UK in 1968 and I thought back then that the 60s would last forever - how wrong was I! But to have lived through that decade - no matter how old you were - it's an amazing feeling and at 61 I feel blessed to be able to remember it as it happened!

Met Gary a few years back and he is as nice and sincere in person! He also is a huge supporter of our Veterans and loves the Lord!

Precious, I'm so glad you said this. Yes, I've seen him sing to hospitalized patients, personally on KZfaq. Just as humble as can be. When we were on our honeymoon my hubby bought me the 45's Young Girl and Lady Willpower. I had them for years, so I for one, will never forget Gary Puckett.

A friend just shared an old video of Gary and the Union Gap in a group on MeWe. I remember always loving listening to Gary's voice. It was so smooth yet powerful. Absolutely beautiful. It's great to see he's still touring. May the Lord keep blessing him.

I have always been a great fan of Gary Puckett and the Union gap. I think my two favorite songs that I love to hear Gary sing our don’t give into him, and this girl is a woman now. I’m so glad I found this channel and I am definitely going to be listening and waiting for more. Thank you.

I live in Tucson, AZ. Back in the day, I recall getting some stares as I returned to my seat after selecting 'young girl ' on the jukebox, as I was like 8. Risque song at the time.... What a great, easy deep voice he has!

I have had the great fortune of attending a concert in Western Maryland. I finally was able to see and listen to the absolutely amazing Gary Puckett and the Union Gap. I met him and had a photo taken with him. He was one of my idols when I was very young. He is still an amazing singer and entertainer. ❤ Also, he is still very handsome. Bless you, Gary, and safe travels as always.❤

You're so lucky to have seen him. Myself and two friends had tickets to see him last November in the UK for the 60s Gold Tour - I was so excited to be seeing the great Gary Puckett - but unfortunately, the tour's promoters cancelled that leg of the tour a few weeks before the actual show. We were gutted and by all accounts we missed a great night, but more importantly we missed Gary and I don't think we'll get that chance again! Never mind, I'll just keep listening to him via KZfaq and Spotify!

@@beverleyr2625 I asked Jamie (keyboard player), if they would be touring again. He didn't say "yes" or "no", but said "well, we're getting old".We've been to a number of his shows. All so down to earth❤️🎹🎤

@@beverleyr2625 what a shame you didn’t see him. He was brilliant at Carlisle and did a meet and greet in the lobby at the interval. He’s been a huge heartthrob of mine since the 60s, he signed my ticket, shook my hand and I had a couple of photos taken with him. He was so lovely to everyone who waited to meet him….and still gorgeous. ❤️❤️❤️

I love Gary Puckett and the Union Gap! My dad had their album "Incredible". I listened to it and I was blown away by his singing! I was 14 at the time I first heard them, now 53 and still loving them! I went sought out their other albums as well.

Gary Puckett an all time favorite. Was in grammar school when he made the seen in 1968( second grade) and have been listening to him ever since. Looks great and an awesome interview to watch.

About six months ago I saw Gary Puckett and many others from the 60s at the Landmark Theater in Syracuse NY, he was absolutely fantastic and he sang many of their best hits.💚

Back in believe in 1993 Gary Puckett played in Fremont Michigan. Me and my friend went and we saw them. He was really great to hear..

Wow, he looks great at 80. This was our signature tune from the 60s as my fiancé was 33 and l was 18. I played it to death on our jukebox as l grew up in a public house in the uk. Great memories, thank you Gary.

Love this man's talent There's plenty songs whose lyrics begin with a question: 1- Alfie 2- Easy to be hard 3- Up,up and away 4- Rocket man 5- Over you. Over you is perhaps the sexiest sounding opening of a song that begins with a question

It’s funny that Gary Puckett should mention that people sometimes don’t recognize him because now that I see his face on this video, I was talking to a gentleman in my doctors office here in California who looked just like him. The elevator was out of order and we both had missed the drama of getting stuck in it. I used the elevator just fine one hour before it got stuck and unfortunately he and his elderly mother had to walk up 4 flights of stairs after the elevator was in the process of getting fixed. Well, we talked briefly about our dilemma and now I stay with the “ I wonder if that was him with his mother feeling” because the doctor saw them right away before me who ended up waiting another 20 minutes for my appointment. Anyway, back to reality, Gary Puckett’s music has always brought great memories of my youth. For your great music Gary, thank you. 🙏❤🎸🎼🎤

Oh no..so sorry to hear about Gary’s mother. This Drs office situation happened recently in another area in Southern CA but not in San Diego. My dr apologized for my long wait. I didn’t lose my composure at Dr’s office when it happened. I’m glad about that. Thank you so much for the gracious reply to my comment and the memorable video.🙏🏻❤️💐💎
