The first frank conversation between Gary Tabach and Vladimir Osechkin turned out to be exciting, poignant, at times scandalous, but that made it even more interesting. Retired US Navy Captain* Gary Tabakh, who headed the NATO anti-terrorist headquarters in Turkey, decided to “interrogate” the founder of the human rights project Gulagu net, Vladimir Osechkin, suspecting him of either working for the FSB or working for... the US Democratic Party. Fortunately, no torture was used during the “interrogation.” Vladimir gladly answered all of Gary Tabach’s pressing questions and gave logical, reasonable and comprehensive answers despite the provocations and attempts of “bad Gary” to confuse him. In any case, despite all attempts to play the “bad cop”, Gary Tabakh is an interesting conversationalist with an original manner of communication and at the same time the first (!!!) native of the USSR to make a serious military career in America, whose experience and knowledge matter and are interesting to us.
We kindly ask our respected subscribers and viewers to be patient with Gary Tabach’s style of communication and discussion and hope that the comments will be polite and in content, without breaking into emotions and hate. Very often, behind the mask of a tough and aggressive interlocutor, there is a good and vulnerable person. In this case, despite a number of provocative questions and an attempt to interrupt Vladimir, Gary gave all of you the opportunity once again to understand Vladimir himself and his position, his history and his actions. We hope that Gary will also appreciate Vladimir’s frankness and in the next conversations we will see a different Gary, without masks and ready for a truly frank conversation, including about his story, which certainly deserves attention and respect.
