What a song, one of the soundtracks in my life, I can tell you exactly where I was and what I was doing with my life at that time. And the needle returns to the start of the song and we’ll all go along like before.. Happy to see they’re still together and making music😊 All the best, Ian

@@bugler75 I remember I was at school march 1990 sixteen years Old I was told the song was written about the fall of the Berlin wall How Europe would turn on itself Again. They were spot on

@@martryan2060 Id never heard that explanation but it totally fits 😊 We’re back to nearly the same divisions that we had in 1989! It was definitely a song that did get me thinking eg: « And American Business snap up Van Goghs for the price of a hospital wing ». Definitely a great song!

Looking at the tooling for their Mk.IX it was pretty clear they would do a Mk.VIII as well. Given the lack of hype or a press event, and the fact they didn't launch it at Telford, I think they know it's a bit of a non-event. It's whatever they are planning for September and November that could be more interesting...

@@jaws848 Every manufacturer aims to get as much value out of a set of moulds as possible - and it's not as if there are loads of Spitfires in 1:24

@FinsburyPhil it doesnt matter about scale....it is the subject...not everyone is a ww2 modeler or a spitfire fan...there are PLENTY of spitfires.....even from Airfix alone....take your rose tinted fanboy glasses off and look at the MANY chances airfix have missed because they went down the ww2 rabbit hole and now are unable or unwilling to get out of it.
