UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzfaq.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

My girlfriend's furnace wasn't getting any heat. Her inducer wasnt turning on. A volt meter showed it wasn't getting any power. Another (different) video told me it was the HSI, so i replaced it. But that didn't fix the issue. Another video told me it was the flame sensor. I changed that too, and that didn't do it either. A third video told me to change the motherboard as the inducer and HSI weren't getting power. So I bought a new motherboard and changed it, but that too didn't fix the issue. I came across your video and learned in step #5 that weak batteries in the wall controller could be the culprit. Her house has two controllers, one upstairs, one downstairs. The upstairs wall controller displayed working digits in the display. Even so, I opened it up and saw that the batteries were corroded . So I changed the batteries in the upstairs unit. But that still didn't fix the issue, even though I cleaned off the terminals as well. The downstairs wall controller had a functioning display also. However, when I changed the batteries in the downstairs wall controller, the heat came on! So lesson learned, sometimes it's the simplest thing. My batteries had enough juice to work the display, but we're too weak to run the heat. Luckily for me all the parts I had purchased over these last two weeks, including the motherboard were returnable as I got them all on Amazon. Thank you for posting this video and helping me troubleshoot her issue, it saved my girlfriend a grip of cash on a service call.

I have another reason for your list: I had a HVAC contractor who shall remain nameless install a new 90% condensing furnace and new central AC system in 2015. Worked great. In October 2018 it finally turned cold, and I switched my thermostat from "cool" to "heat." Could hear the blower come on, and the furnace's high voltage igniter cycling, but the main burner would not come on. Called HVAC contractor who installed, and with which I had a "priority customer" annual maintenance contract. Sorry, they couldn't send anyone to my house because my area was under wild fire "warning evacuation." So suffered through 5 days of no heat until evacuation warning was lifted. When tech finally arrived, took him about 3 minutes to discover that a slide switch behind the furnace cover that controls power to the solenoid that allows natural gas to flow to the burners was in the "off" position. I didn't even know such a switch existed. Apparently the tech who did my annual maintenance check earlier in the year for some reason left the slide switch in the "off" position. Got a profuse apology, and I expect that the tech who did the annual check up is still getting razzed about it.

Good troubleshooting Craig. As a master electrician, I have one tip though. Some naturally assume when they have a 0 volt reading that there is no "hot". It could also be a faulty neutral. At 8:02, you are checking the inducer fan supply by probing the hot terminal and the common neutral point. More accurate would be to check both the hot and the neutral right at the connector plug. This insures you have not lost your neutral between the common point and the connector plug.

Great videos! Recently I replaced a broken secondary fuse on the furnace and a thermostat for my Bryant Heating and Cooling System, and the LED showed a solid red light. However, when I tried to run it two days ago, the LED turned off, but the new fuse on the furnace and the new battery-powered thermostat, as well as the breaker for the furnace are still all intact. Could you give me an educated guess as what could be wrong? Thank you!

3:10 - No need to pull the fuse to check it: after verifying 24volts to the board, if you measure 0volts across the fuse, it is good: if you measure 24volts across the fuse, it is blown.

Should start with the batteries in the thermostat. That anyone can check and fix. Unfortunately it was the last and after I panicked not having a voltage meter trying to figure out what I was looking at based on your pictures it was just the batteries. Thank goodness for that and thank you for number five telling me to check them would've caused a lot less anxiety. Had it been number one problem. Especially since I had no idea thermostat even had batteries. 😂

My Goodman Gmp 100-5 gas furnace started up and worked fine as usual for a week or two this fall and then went dead. Totally dead with no sound, no inducer start up, nothing. Took off covers, pushed in cover switch and checked error code on main board. 3 blinks. This means pressure switch malfunction. Since I'm not HVAC trained, and only partially understand the actual sequence of operation, I got sidetracked and misdirected and began checking all the pressure switch videos. KInda dumb since obviously if the inducer motor isn't working (first step) then the pressure switch (2nd step) can't work. The point is that error codes are helpful but you have to be aware of how the system actually works, step by step, or you can waste time, like me. Anyway, after I took a break I realized I was barking up the wrong tree and started to focus on the inducer moter itself. Luckily found this AC Service Tech video. Great info! I'm no electrician either but after watching the video, checked voltage at pressure switch while trying to start furnace and only got momentary 24v so I tracked the pressure switch wires back to the main board. They both are right next to two relays and when I tapped one, the furnace started up! Tapped it again and the furnace shut down. Bad relay. Never would have found it without watching this video first! So I need a main board which runs around $130. but at least I definately know 100% that ordering it will solve the problem. Looks like a no-brainer to pop off the main board and plug in the new one. And to all you HVAC pros laughing out there, at least I knew about the back cover switch! Thanks again AC service guy! I subscribed to your site for the next time this POS Goodman goes south on me.

Thank you so much for the videos. I have an old furnace ( NUGI100AF01) that I have to frequently reset the power to get it to kick on, just turn off the furnace power, turn it back on and it kicks on - it started failing last January. I cleaned the ignitor but the problem persists. I noticed that the ignition cable has electrical tape at the boot seam that I did not put there, and I have owned the house 20+ years, so I ordered a new ignition cable and if that doesn't fix it I will order a new ignition module (S8610U) - shopping around the parts are fairly inexpensive. After watching this video, I will replace the old thermostat tomorrow. My only question = Is there any one thing that will most likely cause this type of failure? Thanks again.

When I turned on my furnace on last night, for the first time since last Fall, it began to heat the house, then quit. When I went to check the thermostat, I could hear a series of clicks through the air return grate. I hear one click, then a pause, then two clicks in rapid succession, then a pause, then it repeats. Same thing after turning it off then back on. Same thing after it being off overnight. Does that symptom indicate any particular source of the failure??? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
