Who ever built that chassis need to be fired.A low impact crash like that and broke the 4link mounts? I dont want to even imagine how bad it would be if it was a high MPH crash, probably crumble up like a pop can.

The problem is that chassis wasn’t built for that car Richard just bought a used chassis and put a different body on it the best way possible to make a drag car is to take a stock vehicle off of the road and build the roll cage inside of the vehicle thous making the cage custom to the car and making the roll cage set up for the drag racing your gonna do with it 🤦🏽‍♂️

The body was already pre done, as chief was building a car for himself already, but they put the car together in a week, as all the engine one of the turbos and the doors came off the wrecked crow, if you haven't go back to the street outlaws build to mega race, where he really didn't are about the dude since he knew he was breaking rules

What they don't tell you in this clip is Richard cheated. The race between Gas Monkey Garage and Big Chief was suppose to between them. Richard hired NHRA Pro Stock Driver Alex Laughlin to drive for him.

The problem with this car was that usually when building a drag car like these you build the roll cage inside of the body of the stock vehicle so the chassis is custom made for the vehicle.instead of that Richard purchased a ramdom roll cage chassis and put a body on it that chassis wasn’t built for that car and you can tell the way it handles

Richard does not need to be in the drag racing world especially with that caliber of car. He rushed his guy's into building it and the guy even said that the steering wheel was sloppy. Go anyway cause we gotta be there and look what happened with no sympathy for the guy that tried making a pass in the thing..I'm pretty sure Richard's ass would be doing the driving in a hurried up rocket on 4wheels. He has no idea what it's like trying to handle a pro mod that hasn't been tested properly for at least a week cause there's alot more to it than the engine and all that stuff. The suspension and everything has to be dialed in properly before even thinking about blasting down any tracks in the car

I noticed with the crotch rocket racing in the Isle of Man Richard had nothing to do with fabrication, tuning, or driver, of that race and it won. He had nothing to do with it. Basically, the less Richard is involved in racing the better the team does. Go figure. Just speaking facts
