Welcome to scorched rubber our Gaslands battle report series. We take our first look at the game and get familiar with the rules. Buckle up for some high speed wasteland racing!

Gaslands is so much fun. one note to keep in mind, spins and slides aren't always bad. Spins are usually pretty good actually. Slides are trickier but can be amazing at the right time :D

I'mma just add this here. around 7:10, when pushing for the truck, you could have kept the shift result and just rerolled the slides :)

Thanks for the tips and rules notes. It had been a while for myself and the first game for my opponent so these are much appreciated. Its such a fun game :)

That was a great idea to crash the buggy into the opponent's performance car. Great battle Report. That was fun to watch.

Nice. for the future If any part of the car passed the gate it counts as passing the gate. All guns firing on the target are fired at the same time. Add all dice and roll. You cannot shoot when your in a smash, as you distracted or if you are touching an obstacle. As for reversing: just like going forward, so move the full template as if the car was heading for a normal move. so you not doing it correctly. Still very enjoyable game. Also when wrecked go forward a 1 straight then check for explosion.

Well played and edited. Very enjoyable. Just remember that when cars are touching they cannot shoot (distracted). Example at 46:00 in the video.

i fixed GS rules by allowing vehicles to shoot every phase (even if not moving that phase), all the silly weapons and equipment stuff is out, in collisions you can not evade, everyone smashes back and everyone (including objects) has Pile Driver, as cars tend to move around after collisions. and you can not evade getting shot, you are too slow and too close to dodge bullets.

They seem like interesting rules changes, I think its a great idea to implement house rules to customise your games. I feel like it would make the game a lot more brutal! I like it.

@@bluesungaming8033 i just now finished a game of GL and the ending by the normal rules would of been a head on collision with lots of damage and then the cars just go past each other. but by adding the Pile Driver rule, the cars ended up in crazy but real positions after the head on.
