I like the blue one. Reminds me of the one I had with a 2.3 liter 4 cylinder, 280 Magnum cam, headers, Holley 500cfm 2 Barrel, V8 T5 transmission, and 4:11 gears. It ran 14.23 in the quarter mile. I have had four pintos and a Mustang II. I would love to find another one.

I used to have a 72 red Pinto with hard top. Wow, this brings back nice memories. I voted for the blue one early on and its nice to see how it performed on the track. Watching from the Philippines!

I liked blue pinto, we had a blue one back in the day. It had a 390. and it did iow 12's on pump gas.

In terms of the overall paint job, I like the yellow Pinto better, but it would be even cooler if it had the bumpers that the blue Pinto had. I also love the window louvers it's a very nice retro touch. Side pipes are always cool. Maybe they should've put hotter plugs and smaller jets in the carburetor on that yellow Pinto. I'd have to go yellow all the way. By the way, you definitely made that young artists day.

The yellow pinto is my fav. My step dad bought a 1976 yellow Pinto Runabout hatchback 4 speed manual brand new and it was the first car I drove. After I graduated in 1987 I was driving with my sister and nephew and some guy in a 70’s LTD 4 door ran a stop sign and totaled the Pinto. I have been looking for one since. My goal was to put a 302 in mine but never had the chance.

My favorite is the Blue PInto I like the color and I had a PInto station wagon that was yellow of the same year blew up the 2000 4 banger in it. I put a 289 out of a 65 Mustang it was a ripper.

If I ever chose to own a Pinto I would pick one that looked good, was a colour that I liked and had enough power to show off ocassionally. Both of the cars looked good, but when I saw the blue Pinto from the side view there was only one choice to be made and I would choose the blue car. That was a fun challenge for the guys Richard, I hope that you continue to do them. Take care, stay safe and keep healthy.😎👍

I LOVE them both. Pinto has always been a favorite of mine and I have owned over 20 in my time. All models and yrs. The last one I owned was a 76 trunk model and after a whole 7 days owning it an uninsured driver ran me off the road and I rolled it 3 times. 3 months later I was hit head on at 50mph by a drunk driver. Have been disabled since and Pinto's are so rare now I cant find one let alone afford another one. I would trade that Z06 for a nice Pinto any day. Thanks for the series! Damnit I want another Pinto lol.

I was in a 400 HP eagle talon turbo awd driving in a blizzard on the highway.. ended up facing backwards going 60 mph and saved it.. there is never a time where you give up.. looking out your rear window with the hammer down is a unique experience.. don’t ever stop trying.

I completely agree to keep it on track. This is why we need everyone to step up against the EPA. With all these tracks going under its ganna result in people going to the streets. you should have had the taco event at the track. i vote for the yellow car both cars had at least one run under 15 which is impressive and i think it came down to the driver response getting the best time. if the blue team had time to put a quick paint job on the car they might have taken it.

I don't even remember what year I started watching Richard and Gas Monkey Garage but he started with a 2 bay garage flipn a car or 2 at a time..Now looking at how far he's come, giving away a brand new Vette and a million bucks, get you some of that cause this is exactly what success looks like if you really really want it bad enough...He gave it his all and now it's hard to believe what he started out with. I reckon you have to want it bad enough and don't skip a beat cause if you do it can all tumbler down but Richard didnt let that happen...
