Would adding calcium and acetylcholine supplements increase motility by action of stimulating both the GI smooth muscles and the vagus nerve?

This video merits repeating several times. Thank you for taking the trouble of explaining such intricate details about gut physiology. So couple of queries, you've mentioned in the peristalsis extra notes 7:12 that when distended serotonin is released and sensory neurons are activated which relays to the motor neurons and it's mainly the responsibility of sympathetic nerves system, how is that so ? Especially after mentioning earlier that the sympathetic nervous system is for relaxation and the parasympathetic for contraction and the nerve fibers as you mentioned are cholinergic retro and anterograde which leads me to next question how is that cholinergic fibers secretes VIP, ATP and nitric oxide for relaxation aren't they suppose to secrete only Ach, also the fact that there is retro and anterograde fibers relative to the bolus at each moment of digestion is there some sort of alternation between these two fibers or essentially there are two sets of these fibers. Apologies for making it to long i know you'll understand :)

The gut is the exception to many rules. For instance, some fibers here are purinergic (ATP), not just cholinergic. The sympathetic nervous system in the GI tract serves many purposes besides relaxation.
