Sir i want to take some decision for my future ....i am 23 now and just completed bsc chem....i somehow distracted from study dew to some bad association and lost 2 yrs but now again i am studying hard and get a good grip in subject....i want to do masters and then a job in psu through get ...i have the confidence. ..but the problem is my age is now 23 and my familie's economic condition is bad ....so they forcing me to leave subject and start competitive line....what should i do...i am sure that if i prepare for gate for 2 year i can get a good rank ...but people are saying there are very less scope for secure job in chemistry and recruitment now a days very less...i confidence is little bit going down.... I want your advice sir ...bcoz in few days i ve to take huge decision or life changing decision i mau say .....

I am BE chemical . And got teaching later on.I am above 35 years ,General category and in teaching profession. Have read mbbs, books physiology, stryer biochemistry , and pharmacology katzung and chemistry peter sykes, morrison and puri pathania. I want to qualify net. And because no age limit and interest in biochemistry and pharmacology. There are options of interdiciplanary subjects medicine chemistry in syllabus. What does it mean. Now being BE chemical, i can appear for net chemical science. But can i appear for net life sciences being BE chemical . Please suggest. Thanks
